The high with Fruity Pebbles OG starts off as a strong body buzz which will leave users feeling spacey as they enter a euphoric and psychedelic head space. The Fruity Pebbles strain contains between 18% to 21% THC on average. While it is an indica dominant hybrid with 55% to 45% sativa, it is a relatively well balanced strain and typically does offer users both indica and sativa effects. Its parent, Green Ribbon, is an even hybrid with 50% sativa to 50% indica and averages at a 20% THC count. Its other parent, Granddaddy Purple, also known as GDP or Grand Daddy Purps, is an indica dominant hybrid with a ratio of 70% to 30% sativa, and a THC potency of 20% to 27% and 1% CBD. Tahoe OG, on the other hand, is an even stronger indica dominant hybrid with 90% to 10% sativa, 20% THC and 1% CBN.
The nugs of Fruity Pebbles are long in shape and somewhat conical. They are densely packed, a typical characteristic of indica strains. In colour, they are predominantly a light, minty green, however, the Fruity Pebbles strain really distinguishes itself from others in its striking multi-coloured hues of oranges, reds and yellows–similar to the breakfast cereal–a rainbow blend which is the result of the plant’s anthocyanins. Like its name suggests, the Fruity Pebbles strain and its aromas and flavour profile are reminiscent of the fruity breakfast.
