Effects

This is excellent for those suffering from chronic fatigue or have ADD/ADHD. It is not recommended as a wake and bake or morning strain though because shortly after, you’ll also feel its physical effects settle in that will leave you feeling sleepy. Waves of relaxation will wash over you, and the cerebral head high turns from energized to a more heady and calm contentment. You’ll feel totally relaxed both mentally and physically as you bask in an uplifting euphoria, perfect for an evening high right before bedtime. THC Content

Black Truffle is an indica hybrid, though is only slightly dominant as its indica dominance has a ratio of 60% indica to 40% sativa. While its exact parental genetics have not been confirmed, it is generally believed to be a member of the Truffle family of cannabis strains. It is quite rare, which just further adds to its mysterious background! There are a number of truffle strains on the market, such as White Cherry Truffle, Truffle Butter and Truffle Cake, though their lineages vary, so attempts at guessing Black Truffle’s parents can be difficult. It is, however, known that the Black Truffle is a highly potent strain having been reported to test around 26% to 27% THC levels on average.

Appearance & Aroma

It may be called Black Truffle, but this strain is actually a pretty bright and vibrant minty green! It is further brightened with its specks of yellowish orange pistils that wind throughout and a layering of frosty, crystal white trichomes. In sizing, the buds are large, even oversized. They have a pointed tip with a thicker base, and can be compared to a diamond shape. Cannabis enthusiasts who are seeking new flavours will be particularly delighted by the terpene profile that Black Truffle has to offer! Blending sweet, sour, spicy and a tiny bit of savoury, this strain delivers aromatic coffee, fresh and fruity blueberries and grapes, earthiness, kush spice and a bit of pungent gas. This is probably the 5th or 6th time I've ordered this strain as it's one of my personal favorites. First few times I got it, it was a quad and some of the best weed I've gotten off here. Tight purple nugs with amazing bag appeal. Seems its mostly trips these days but still really good. When it's a trip it's usually drier (fixed with a boveda pack) and buds are more sparse but still has that amazing taste, smell and high. This particular batch wasn't one of the nicest ones (rank it 5th or 6th amongst all the times I've ordered it) but was happy with it. The quad batch I would rate 5/5 and the trip batches I would rate 4/5 since it's usually drier and less bag appeal than the quad. Would recommend overall.

I find this strain to be a little hard to explain, because it has a unique effect that is very cerebral but not outwardly visible to others, so it is a great strain to get creative with out getting silly. High marks for stress relief and combating anxiety, so smooth to smoke and not hard on the lungs. I'm enjoying it, not much else to say.
