There is quite a bit of speculation surrounding its genetic lineage with some popular theories considering it being a Dominican landrace, while others estimate that it is an NYC native with origins in the NYC Haze strain (also known as Piff, New York Haze, or Uptown Haze), which is also a pure sativa. This phenotype however is a pure original with no hybridization or crossbreeding, and its origins can be traced back to the Caribbean!

Appearance & Aroma

The strain’s nuggets are not dense, and are rather light with a fluffy appearance that is typical of sativas The colouring of Frankie’s Incense Haze buds are predominantly a light to medium green. Its pistils are quite thick, wrapping around the nugs in little clusters and have a deep brassy orange hue. They are finished off with a nice coating of white crystallized trichomes. Its aromas include notes of sweet lemon that make it reminiscent of lemonade, though these sweeter notes are complemented by florals, fresh pine and spices that are similar to cinnamon and nutmeg.
