Lemon Skunk is a highly decorated sativa strain that was bred by DNA Genetics, the OG and respected team responsible for the creation of over 125 award-winning strains. Although the genetic history of this one might seem unspecific, it is known that DNA Genetics selected two varying cuts of the Skunk phenotype for their exceptionally bright citrus aromas and flavours before crossing the two to create this one-two punch. It has won multiple awards for its’ refreshing zesty lemon attributes, including 1st Place at the 2008 Spannabis Cannabis Champions Cup and the Highlife Cup in 2007. Just like many of the knock-out strains that preceded it, Lemon Skunk by DNA Genetics has developed quite a following, becoming a staple strain in many reputable dispensaries and coffee shops globally.

Effects & THC Concentration

Surprisingly for a sativa strain, Lemon Skunk boasts fairly high THC concentrations that range between 15-22% on the higher end, with average CBD levels that are less than 1%. The general high and experience of this strain is described as heady and very cerebral – many users liken its’ high to that of Laughing Buddha and many other happy, uplifting sativa strains.
