As its name might suggest, the Strawberry Cough can induce quite a cough, and this is due to its thick smoke. It also has a bit of a skunky odour in addition to its strong strawberry aroma, so this is not a strain to be discreet with! The Strawberry Cough strain is a sativa dominant hybrid. It has a ratio of 80% sativa to 20% indica. It is known to be a potent strain with an average THC concentration of 22% to 26%, along with around 1% CBN. Its parent, Haze, is also a sativa hybrid and is one of the most popular strains on the market. Haze has the same 80%:20% dominant sativa to indica ratio. Its THC content averages closer to 20% to 23% potency. Strawberry Fields, the strain’s other parent, is an indica hybrid. With a ratio of 70% indica to 30% sativa, its THC content is similar to Strawberry Cough, averaging 19% to 24% and also offering around 1% CBD. However, some speculate that instead of Strawberry Fields, the other parent actually might be Erdbeer, yet another sativa hybrid, a super rare backcross of the OG Swiss Strawberry. 

Appearance & Aroma

Strawberry Cough buds are small, rounded and have a fluffy appearance, though are actually densely packed. They are a light green, and its pistils are a pale, copper orange which are super thick, long and wiry. Its trichomes are bright white and are also thick, giving the strain quite a frosty appearance. It has a bit of an earthy and pungent skunky scent that is typical of cannabis, though it has overtones of sweet strawberries, a characteristic taken from its Strawberry Fields parent, in addition to a peppery spice and herbs that accentuate its overall flavour profile.
