The strain is created by crossing the citrusy Tangie and the widely popular Thin Mint Cookies (aka Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies). It is not to be confused with Mandarin Cookies which, though similar in name, aromas, flavours and also bred using the original Girl Scout Cookies GSC parent, this other strain is crossbred instead with Mandarin Sunset (though other variations of Mandarin Cookies also exist, crossing Mandarin Sunset with other phenotypes of Girl Scout Cookies). The Tangie parent of Tangerine Cookies is a balanced hybrid made of Skunk and California Orange, while the Thin Mint Cookies is bred through a threeway cross of Girl Scout Cookies, OG Kush and Durban Poison.

Appearance & Aroma

Tangerine Cookies nugs are fluffy and rounded though somewhat elongated, with its leaves spiraling outwards. In colour, they are typically a pale green that ranges from light olive to mint. This is accented by brassy copper orange pistils that are clustered throughout. The colours are all brightened by a generous coating of white crystal trichomes, which gives them the appearance of being dipped in sugar! With a classic earthy aroma, it also takes on traits of both of its parents, offering a unique terpene blend of creamy vanilla cookies and mint with extremely sweet and sour citrus orange. When smoking, its strong citrus flavours are predominant and  lingering in your mouth, but upon exhaling, its deliciously creamy and minty menthol flavours can be tasted and won’t let you forget about its amazing Thin Mint Cookies lineage!
