Cali Bubba is an indica dominant hybrid strain with a ratio of 70% indica to 30% sativa. Its THC levels have been measured to average at a staggering 24% potency. In comparison, its parent, California Kush (or commonly referred to as Cali Kush for short) is a slightly balanced though indica leaning hybrid with lesser potency, measuring between 13% to 15% THC on average, though it has been reported to test as high as 24% as well. Its other parent, Bubba Kush, also known simply as BK, Bubba, or Bubba OG Kush, is a pure indica. Notorious for its heavily relaxing high with THC levels at an impressive 27% average potency, it is no surprise that any child of this strain will encompass its strong genetics!

Appearance & Aroma

Cali Bubba nugs are densely packed and are a bit on the smaller side. They are a mix of mint and olive green, with brownish, orange amber pistils throughout. It is coated with tiny crystal trichomes that give the strain a frosted and sugary appearance. Taking on characteristic traits of its parents, the strain is strongly gassy, earthy and hashy with hints of spice as well as a sweetness, similar to fruits! Some note its sweetness can be sugary, like candy, and there are also undertones of woody pine, though its dominant diesel scent is emphasized when the nugs are broken down. Definitely not the most discreet strain out there, but with such harsh tones, it offers a nicely smooth and tasty smoke!
