Gelato #33 offers users a nice and tasty light smoke, though that is not to say it isn’t a heavy hitting high. It is known for being a relatively strong strain and can hit you almost immediately upon consuming, starting off as an intense and uplifting, euphoric head rush that is soon followed by a calming, buzzing body high. After smoking, you are left feeling happy, social and relaxed. The psychoactive high helps alleviate anxiety, stress or depression so that you are mentally at ease. The physical body relaxation felt with Gelato #33 is known for being strong and highly effective in soothing, or even melting away all body aches and pains which is in part due to the high buzz, but it does not leave you feeling couch-locked or overly sedated, making it popular amongst medical users of marijuana. The Gelato #33 averages at 22% in THC content, and it embodies a pretty balanced indica to sativa ratio at 55% to 45%. It takes on its strong genetics and powerful effects from its parents: Thin Mint GSC which is a 50%:50% hybrid and averages at 24% THC, and is itself a cannabis community favourite being one of the more popular Girl Scout Cookies phenotypes; its other parent, Sunset Sherbert, sometimes also known simply as Gelato, is more indica dominant with a ratio of 85%:15%, and while it carries a lesser THC count of 10%-19% on average, it does also typically embody 1% CBD, making it more ideal for medical usage. Gelato #33, on the other hand, gives you the best of both worlds without being too overpowering on either side!
Staying true to its sweet heritage, Gelato #33 encompasses a variety of dessert flavours. There are aromas of mint, something it takes on from the Thin Mint GSC, along with a medley of fruits including blueberry and sweet citruses. Some even note hints of a lavender scent, though the taste upon smoking is more like a sherbert of fresh oranges and berries. Definitely one of the more appealing and colourful flavour profiles of the Gelato phenotype! It is visually appealing, too, with a colour combo of dark greens and purples, spotted with fiery orange pistils. Pair the Gelato #33 with your own favourite fruity sherbert ice cream on the side for double the goodness!
