Originally created by Rare Dankness, the Ghost Train Haze (GTH) is a sativa dominant hybrid that was made by crossing Neville’s Wreck and Ghost OG. A multi-award winning strain holding titles such as 1st Place Sativa at the 2014 High Times Cannabis Cup, runner up winner for Best Medical Sativa in 2013 as well as frequent winner of the annual High Times Strongest Strains on Earth, the Ghost Train Haze is a true cannabis legend. With THC levels reaching an average of 27% potency, it is not for the faint-hearted! Ghost Train Haze is a sativa dominant hybrid with a ratio of 80% sativa to 20% indica. Its THC levels are some of the highest to be found in the cannabis market, with an average of an intimidating 25% to 27% potency. Despite the impressiveness of these numbers, its strength is no surprise when you consider its parents: Ghost OG and Neville’s Wreck (sometimes spelled as Nevil’s Wreck). The former parent, Ghost OG, is an indica hybrid with 70% indica to 30% sativa. It is the result of a cross between the legendary Afghan landrace and OG Kush strains, together creating Ghost OG which averages 18% to 24% in THC levels. Neville’s Wreck, an extremely rare strain, is a sativa hybrid mixing 80% sativa and 20% indica with an equally strong and potent THC count of 25% on average. This strain was created by crossing Trainwreck and Neville’s Haze, both of which are also recognized as heavy hitters.
The Ghost Train Haze nuggets are thick and dense with an olive green colour. Its orange pistils are thin and long, but plentiful, as are its crystal trichomes, giving it a generously frosty coat. Its aromas are predominantly zesty citrus, woody pine and sweet, though there are also accents of hashy spices, floral herbs and an earthiness. While not pungent, its smell is quite strong and can easily fill a room, even when breaking down and pulling apart the buds. Its scent gives off the flavours, which are a tasty and sweet and sour blend of lemons and pine, and delivers a smooth smoke!

Until recently, when the very best dispensary along the Pacific; Green Society, ran out out of this glorious leaf. This unfortunate shortage isn’t surprising though, as DP is the very best bud hands-down.
I was left to order some Ghost Train Haze. I’ve obviously smoked GTH several times over the years, BUT I guess I forgot just how goooood it is.
GTH most defintely runs a close 2nd in terms of getting u effed up just right. It certainly does the trick that only a few strains does: Keeps adding to the desired effects the more n’ more you smoke it. Meaning, my ‘high’ doesn’t plateau.
Although I still have half of my batch which I’ve previously ordered from GS, I’ve just re-upped before this particular bud sells-out lol
Moral of the story: Ghost Train Haze gets you higher n’ higher the more you smoke it. That to me automatically places GTH in the Durban Poison Goodness catagory!
