Its THC levels range between 16% and 24% on average. Its parent, Northern Lights, is a pure indica and descendent of original Afghan landraces with THC levels reaching upwards of 33%. Haze (or Original Haze), on the other hand, is a sativa dominant with a ratio of 80% sativa to 20% indica, and THC levels of up to 23% on average. It has highly potent effects that have made it become a popular strain used for crossbreeding and creating other new hybrid strains. With NL5 X Haze being the child of two already popular and legendary strains, it has come to make a name for itself, winning multiple awards including titles at High Life Cup and the High Times Cannabis Cup events. 

Appearance & Aroma

The nugs of Northern Lights #5 X Haze are large and thick with a cone-like shape. They are much more dense than typical sativas and because of this perhaps do look more like an indica. It is bright green in colour with many patches of yellow-orange throughout, with burnt orange pistils intertwining throughout, giving it a bit of a golden appearance. The strain is predominantly spicy, pungent, herbal and earthy in terms of its aromas, a classic blend of cannabis scents. When smoking, however, its flavours offer much more than its aromas give off!
