Zombie OG by Serious Seeds

As you might guess from this strain’s name, Zombie OG, sometimes also referred to as Zombie Kush, is a super sedative, potent and heavy hitting strain that will leave you feeling like the undead yourself! A cross between Blackberry and the worldwide famous OG Kush, the strain is an indica dominant hybrid which offers users an ultra relaxing high that is backed by THC levels that reach up to 21%! Despite its dark and cryptic name, its flavours and aromas are ironically quite delightful and really the opposite of the undead as it is predominantly fresh and floral! Effects

Many users of Zombie OG report it to be effective almost immediately, with initial effects being extremely euphoric and uplifting that will quickly have you feeling happy and giggly! This head high is soon followed by a deeply relaxing body high that can be heavy, sedative and couchlocking. THC Content

The Zombie OG strain is almost a pure indica with 90% dominance to 10% sativa. Its THC levels average between 18% and 21%, with a bit of CBD typically measuring at 0.3% potency which, while minor, seems to contribute to the overall relieving effects of this powerful indica. Its parent, OG Kush, a legendary strain across all cannabis circles, is also an indica dominant hybrid with a ratio of  75% to 25% sativa as well as THC levels that trend between 17% to 24% and 1% CBN. Its other parent, Blackberry, is a balanced hybrid with THC potency at a high average between 20% to 26%, delivering users a potent, uplifting and sedative high that is also ideal for medical usage.

Appearance & Aroma

Zombie OG nugs are small, long and dense with a pointed, spade like tip. They are primarily a bright neon green in colour, though also have some shades of olive green speckled throughout. Its pistils are a pale brownish orange, almost golden. The resin and crystal trichomes covering this strain are also plentiful. Users may be surprised to find that this strain named after brain eating monsters is actually pleasantly aromatic with dominant notes of florals and refreshing pine! There are also undertones of earthiness and the sweetness of fruits, further elevating the freshness of Zombie OG’s aromas. Upon smoking, however, users will find it is quite dank as well and notes of diesel will be apparent, though this harsher flavour gives it a bit of a balance and doesn’t take away from the tastiness of sweet fruit and lavender florals!
