Effects

The high with Jelly Breath starts as a little heady buzz that slowly spreads down to the rest of your body. Jelly Breath is heavily indica dominant with a ratio of 90% indica to a mere 10% sativa. While it is known to be a cross of Mendo Breath and Do-Si-Dos, there is no confirmed knowledge of its creators, though there is some speculation that it was the brainchild of In House Genetics. Its THC content averages anywhere from 21% up to a phenomenal high of 33% concentration; it also has about 2% CBD. Its parents, Mendo Breath and Do-Si-Dos (sometimes simply referred to as “Dosi”), are both also indica hybrids, and they share the same indica to sativa ratio of 70:30. Mendo Breath however has a THC concentration of around 20%, while Do-Si-Dos more closely matches with Jelly Breath’s strength with around 28% to 30% THC potency. 

Appearance & Aroma

The buds of Jelly Breath have a bit of a rounded, pointed-end spade shape. Its colouring is a pale olive green though it has plentiful thin, long, pale orange pistils that wind throughout it. It is also heavily frosted in milky trichomes. These colours blend to give the buds an appearance that can be reminiscent of a mossy forest floor. While the strain is known for its amazing heavy high, it is also recognized for its tasty flavour palette. Its dominant terpenes include caryophyllene, limonene, myrcene, humulene, and linalool, which come together to offer unique aromas and flavours of fresh earthiness and florals, sweet berries and fruits, as well as a hint of spice when crushed and burned. For such a heavy strain, it is delightfully refreshingly delicious!
